The Australian and Filipino in me could not only appreciate the opportunity to live in Switzerland, but left to fathom how Europe came to enchant me. It was a relatively lethargic start but as the months continue and travels became frequent. Living this side of the world became quite compelling. Witnessing the sun set off  a port in the Adriatic sea in Dubrovnik  and baking in the sunny shores of the Atlantic coastline of Algarve - left me a high dose of admiration but at the same time, the dreaded feeling of  sadness; for I'm quite certain that the opportunity to conveniently revisit these places will abruptly cease one day. A hard pill to swallow indeed. I think I've fallen in love with Europe. I'm most certain I did.
